Experienced Research Scientist with a demonstrated history of working in analytical laboratories. Skilled in Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS), High-Resolution Mass-Spectrometry (HRMS), Biotechnology, Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Wastewater epidemiology, and Life Sciences. Strong research professional with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) focused in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Antwerp.

Fields of interest

Over 7+ years’ work experience identifying and characterizing small molecules using high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) techniques in high pace environments (forensic, clinical, and environmental research). Collaborated on projects with cross-functional teams as a lead analytical chemist applying HRMS tools and techniques which led to 20+ peer-reviewed publications. Proficient in authoring reports, and technical documents. Currently working on developing workflows that apply non-target metabolomics-based strategies to detect, identify and characterize small molecule biomarkers of disease and /or exposure.
