The Department of Forensic Medicine is one of the main providers of investigations and expertise in forensic medicine to the Danish society. It is the only place in Denmark where forensic anthropology, pathology, toxicology and genetics are combined under one roof.
The department is part of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences at the University of Copenhagen.
Research
The Department of Forensic Medicine focuses on integration of basic science with applied science in forensic medicine. Our aim is to generate new knowledge that can be used in diagnostics in forensic medicine.
