If you are involved in a paternity or kinship case, you need to book two appointments approximately one week apart.

If you do not have a MitID, we can help you book an appointment.. Please contact them on the following number +45 28 75 61 11.

You get the sample taken at the following address:

Section of Forensic Genetics

Frederik V’s Vej 11, Main Entrance A / Stairwell 53
2100 Copenhagen Ø

There is also an entrance from Inge Lehmanns Vej 14, Main Entrance B / Stairwell 54.

Due to vacation, it is not possible to get a sample taken during weeks 1, 29, 30, 31 and 52.

DNA-testing for private individuals

The Section of Forensic Genetics does not carry out DNA testing on request for private individuals.
